Patna is the capital and the largest city in the Indian state of Bihar, which is known for its rich and ancient history, archaeological sites and many historical events. You can take bus from Patna to Ranchi, Gaya, Siliguri, Kolkata and other nearby cities..


How to Reach Patna by Rail:

Another way of reaching Patna is through the rail network that happens to be among the busiest rail network, stretching from Delhi to Kolkata. Patna Junction Railway Station links the city to other parts of the country with a wide range of trains that operate at regular intervals to and from the station. The facility of auto rickshaw and cabs is available at the station. The town has its own Railway Station named as Patna Railway Station. It is well connected to major cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Moradabad and Lucknow via Sanghamitra Express, Bagmati Express, Dbrt Rajdhani, Rajendra Nagar Express and Cstm Asansol Express.


How to reach Patna by Air:

The city has its own International Airport named as Lok Nayak Jayaprakash International Airport, roughly 7 Kms from the main city. The airport is well connected to major cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Vishakhapatnam via Air India, Go Air, Jet Airways, Indigo and JetLite. You can take Flights from Patna to Bangalore, Delhi and other major metro cities.
